Membership

We look after the social and legal requirements of our members and represent their interests in many ways, particularly through a close contact with the local authorities.

Services to ISVH members

• For an annual membership fee of Euro 36,00 you and all your family members living at the same address become associates of an association of more than 1500 members and of more than 15 different nationalities and approximately 1.500 property owners. Included in the annual membership fee is the use of a personal mailbox at the ISVH-Centre.
  
  
• With your membership you support the ISVH Voluntary Fire Brigade (Bomberos Voluntarios) in Balcon al Mar, Costa Nova, Ambolo, La Marina, Granadella, El Pla, Panorama and La Guarda Park.
   
• You can participate at special fees in language, Yoga, gymnastics, Tai-Chi, lumbar rehabilitation and other courses or join organized walks.
   
• Your membership card entitles you to a discount of up to 15% in a selection of shops.
   
• You can participate in excursions of one or more days at reduced cost.
   
• You will receive at least three issues of the ISVH-Bulletin per year (our own magazine) which keeps you abreast of all necessary local information. When you are overseas it can be mailed to your address abroad and  it can be downloaded from our web-site.
   
• Our Executive Board Members are available each Wednesday from 10am to 12am (July and August every fortnight only) for any information required and at no cost.
• In case of emergencies we provide a social service. The cost have to be borne by the beneficiaries.
   
• Specialists and Executive Board Members with the required language skills accompany to local authorities.
   
• In order to emphasize and strengthen the concept of solidarity amongst people of various nationalities who have come together here to live under the sun of Spain we organize a number of internal events such as the ISVH Christmas Market or the ISVH Voluntary Fire Brigade Easter Flea Market as well as the ISVH Annual General Meeting.
